Velarc Terms of Service
Last updated: July 13, 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of Velarc. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
Your account and responsibilities
- You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.
- You may only upload and process data and files you have the right to use.
- You are responsible for reviewing output generated by the service before relying on it for business, financial, or operational decisions.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Velarc — or any output or email it produces — to do any of the following:
- Violate any law or regulation, or infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
- Upload or process data you do not have permission to use, or that contains malware or other malicious code.
- Send, generate, or facilitate spam, phishing, or unsolicited bulk or commercial email, or otherwise use Velarc or its outputs in connection with unsolicited messaging.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, other accounts, or our systems; probe or scan for vulnerabilities; or interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service, including through denial-of-service or excessive automated requests.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where such a restriction is prohibited by law.
- Resell, sublicense, or provide the service to third parties except as expressly permitted, or scrape or harvest data from the service at scale.
Anti-spam and email use
Velarc has zero tolerance for spam and email abuse. The account and service email we send are transactional messages tied to your use of Velarc, sent only to registered users, and are handled in line with applicable anti-spam laws such as the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act. We do not send unsolicited bulk email, and we do not permit anyone to use Velarc — or any address it emails — to send, promote, or facilitate spam. Violations of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination.
Trials and the Explore plan
Eligible new accounts may receive a no-card Solo trial. The trial does not create a paid subscription and will not automatically charge you. When the trial ends, the account moves to the Explore plan and its limits unless you choose a paid plan.
Paid subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans are offered on monthly or annual billing cycles and automatically renew for the same cycle until canceled. Annual subscriptions are billed in full at the start of each annual term.
- A plan upgrade takes effect immediately. We calculate the prorated amount for the remaining time in the current billing period and charge it immediately.
- A downgrade, or a change to a shorter billing cadence such as annual to monthly, takes effect at the next renewal rather than during the current paid period.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You can continue using the paid plan until then, and it will not renew afterward.
- Payments are nonrefundable except where a refund is required by law. Prices do not include taxes; you are responsible for applicable taxes unless the law requires us to collect them.
- We may change plan prices and will provide advance notice before a change applies to a future renewal. Continuing the subscription after that renewal date accepts the new price; you may cancel before then.
Plan limits and fair use
Each plan includes the features and usage limits shown when you select it, such as limits on active workflows, monthly runs, and concurrent runs. One run is one published workflow processing its required source file or files into a completed workbook output. Work in progress reserves concurrent capacity; validation failures, cancellations, and platform failures do not consume a monthly run. Monthly run allowances reset in UTC. You may not bypass or manipulate those limits. We may reasonably restrict unusually intensive, automated, or abusive use that degrades the service for others, and we may ask you to move to a plan suited to that usage.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms — particularly the Acceptable use and Anti-spam sections — or if your use poses a risk to the service, other users, or third parties. You may stop using the service and close your account at any time.
Service availability and changes
Velarc may change, suspend, or improve features over time. We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Velarc-generated output may contain errors, and you are responsible for reviewing it before use. To the extent permitted by law, Velarc is not liable for decisions made in reliance on the output.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. We will revise the “last updated” date above and provide additional notice for material changes where appropriate. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
